What a lovely trip the children had last Friday, we hope you also enjoyed the day and didn’t get too hot! Thank you for supporting our family day out.

We are pleased to announce that we have been awarded Makaton Friendly Status and hope the children show you some of the signs they use in nursery, including our hello and goodbye song.

In Caterpillars this week we will be thinking about zoo animals and sharing the book Dear Zoo. We will be painting handprint elephants and making animal masks. The children have been very interested in our toolbox so we will be developing this and exploring the different tools, then making our own tape measures to use round our environment! We will also be exploring rhymes with animals in and making some shakers to use as we sing.
