Week ending 8.2.19 in Caterpillars 🐛

This week is Chinese New Year 🧧 

We watched a clip of children celebrating the new year then made luck money wallets. We joined up with the Butterfly children to taste some Chinese food and made a Chinese lantern. We listened to some Chinese music and did a dragon dance 🐉 We also had a lovely share with me session with our parents making Chinese dragons.

Following on from the children’s interests we made binoculars for the the children to use to look at the birds out of the window.

We celebrated a birthday 🍰
