Caterpillars week beginning 15.5.17

This week we will be continuing to follow the theme on growing as we plant some broad beans into window bags to watch them grow some roots and shoots! We will be sharing the story of Jaspers Beanstalk and learning about what a beanstalk might look like. We will be linking this to thinking about the seasons and how the weather changes to as plants begin to grow.

The children have been very interested in pouring and pretending to pour drinks in our role play area, so we will be experimenting with different containers to find out which are the best to pour from and if we can do it without spilling!
