Hello! Welcome to our online learning blog. This week our story is Dear Zoo. Click on the video to hear Miss Barlow read the story and then you will see some activitiy ideas. Please pop a comment on the box below to tell us what you've been able to do or send us an email.
- Can you try to move like the animals in the story? Creep up like a hunting lion, stomp like and elephant, slither like a snake, jump like a frog? Try out a way of moving and ask your grown up if they can guess which one you are being!
- Make a mask of your favourite animal – use a piece of card or a paper plate, cut out holes for the eyes and add on ears or maybe a trunk, a mouth and use your crayons or paints to decorate it.We would love to see what you make. Your grown up can email a photo to [email protected] for your keyworkers to include in your learning journey.
- Could you be a wild animal spotter? Build yourself a little den out of cushions with a sheet over the top, try a pair of (toilet roll tube) binoculars and imagine the animals you could see.
