Hello! It's Dinosaur time! Enjoy the story of 'Dinosaur Roar' then try these activities:
- Design your own dinosaur – make a handprint in the middle of a large paper. Now add a tail, spikes, horns…and give it a name! Mine will be a ‘Connor’-saurus!
- https://www.bbc.co.uk/cbeebies/topics/dinosaurs has lots of videos, games and activities for everyone who is a dinosaur fan.
- We know about dinosaurs because scientists study their skeletons. Can you make a skeleton using cotton buds, straws or strips of white paper?
- Do you have a dinosaur toy? Play Dinosaur hunter – hide the dinosaur, giving you child clues involving positional words, such as under, in, on and see if they can find it. Then swop over and let them give you a clue to find the toy. (If you don’t have a dinosaur you can play this game with a different toy too).
