Good morning to you!
- Sing the currant bun song, using your fingers and 5 pennies. Each time one is taken check how many fingers you need to show.
- Make your own pretend currant buns using saltdough. (1 cup salt, 1 cup flour, 1 cup water and cook slowly, 3 hours on a very low heat). Shape your salt dough into round shapes and when they are cooked you can paint them. Don’t forget a red cherry on the top!
- Look at a selection of coins. Look for numbers on each one – which numbers can you see? Put the coins under a paper and with a wax crayon make a rubbing of the coins. Lift up your paper and see if you can match them up.
- Let’s pretend! Make your own shop. It could be a toy shop. Put some price tickets onto your toys and ask your grown up or brothers and sisters to come and buy.
