• Change the song to Old Macdonald had a zoo E –I –E –I -O! Which animals could you hear at a zoo? “And at that zoo they heard a roar/hiss/ squawk …”
• Play a game of I spy. There are so many different versions to try:“I spy with my little eye something which is red, blue, yellow” or “I spy something round, square, oval” or “I spy with my little eye something beginning with sss”.
