Summer Term 2022
Date: 22nd Apr 2022 @ 4:12pm
Welcome back to the summer term, through which we hope to see some sunshine! This is the final term of the school year which has yet again had some difficult periods for our children and families with the pandemic. It is lovely to be returning to all children in school and we are looking forward to a successful term.
We have a busy time ahead which starts with several new starters joining us in both the Butterflies and Caterpillars room. We welcome our new starters and hope they will soon feel part of our school family! Please tell your friends about us as we welcome new starters at any point throughout the year and have some available space in both rooms. We are pleased to continue offering 30 hour and 15 hour places for our 3 year olds and morning sessions for our 2 year olds
This term is an important term for all our children but most particularly for our school starters who leave us in July to attend Primary School. They have grown and developed in so many ways and we are proud of their achievements as they continue preparing for this important milestone. We feel that the transition to primary school needs to be done smoothly and we invite all schools in to our sessions to meet your children in an environment in which they feel confident. Please can all families ensure that you tell us which school your child is moving to.
As we move into the warmer weather this term please ensure your child has a water bottle, sun hat and sunscreen applied before coming to school. As you know our curriculum is spent equally inside and outside and we wish to keep all of your children safe.
This term we will continue to provide special celebration times thorough our website as we reintroduce welcoming you back in for visits into school safely. We have a school trip planned and hope you will be able to join us.
I am looking forward to finding out more about your children's interests and hobbies which inspire many activities throughout the term.
Please feel free to pop in to see me if you have any concerns or queries, my door is always open.
