The dinosaur theme continues in the Butterfly room this week and we’re going to be having fun taking part in lots of dinosaur activities such as, stories, games, rescuing dinosaurs from the swamp, and investigating the mysterious footprints and eggs that have appeared…

One of the most popular choices in Butterflies is the train set – we will extend the children’s learning this week by making a train in Nursery and using it to role play going on train rides.

One of our most important roles at Nursery is to encourage the children to become independent, in particular we are focussing on them putting their coats on by themselves and helping to put their toys away at tidy up time - we would be grateful if you could reinforce and encourage this at home too.
