Week beginning 12.2.18 in Caterpillars

This week the children will be thinking about Chinese New Year as it is on Friday 16th February. It is the year of the dog. We will be making lanterns, lucky money envelopes and lollipop dragons. On Friday we will taste some Chinese food – noodles, rice, and prawn crackers. As it is Shrove Tuesday we will think about pancakes on Tuesday and practise flipping some cardboard and real pancakes using a fish slice and a small frying pan. We hope you have a lovely half term break, please try to fill in a home slip if you can during the holiday, we would like to hear about what is happening at home.
