Week beginning 13.11.17 in Caterpillars

This week is the World Nursery Rhyme week. We have a very busy week planned! We will be learning a different rhyme each day and doing a variety of craft activities. On Monday we will explore shades of blue and white as we make a sea scape for Bobby Shaftoe's boat. We will also explore boats in our water tray and count how many passengers can go into them before they sink. On Tuesday we will be exploring Lavender and finding out about different smells sch as lemon and onions. On Wednesday we will be making some paper mice linked to the rhyme Hickory Dickory Dock. On Thursday we will explore cotton reels and use them to thread and wind for the wind the bobbin up rhyme. On Friday it is Children in Need and the children will be making spotty crowns to link the rhyme to this.
