Week beginning 17.10.16

Time has flown by and this is our last week before the half term break. The children will be listening to the story of the 'Little Red Hen' and thinking about how we help each other in nursery. They will be making salt dough and choosing a fruit or a vegtable to shape and paint as we think of our harvest on Thursday. The children will be using the rhyme bag, singing well known songs and practising our harvest song. Lots of lovely musical sessions!

During last week the children loved exploring the ramps outside, so this learning will be extended inside as we experiment with rolling cars down from different heights and find out about which cars go the fastest and the slowest. We will be using lots of talking for this ativity to develop our ideas!
