Week beginning 4/6/18

This week is our Bookstart week when we will be learning about the story ‘A busy day for birds’ by Lucy Collins. We will be making dough birds, making and using binoculars to look for birds and dancing outside like birds with ribbons and strips of paper to twirl. The children will also be identifying and matching birds using a matching game and using different equipment to make models of birds. The children will all be bringing a copy of the book home to keep at the end of the week.

On Tuesday we have the fire engine visiting so we will be thinking about the role of a fireman and printing some fire engines as we may get the opportunity to look at and to sit inside the fire engine!
