Week beginning 5.2.18

This week the children will be doing several activities which require looking closely. We will be looking at our names and the letters in them. We will also be using a collection of pebbles with stripes on them to do some observational drawing, developing circles and lines. The children have been enjoying watching carefully through the window to see if any birds are in our nursery garden. We have used the binoculars and this week we will be making some simple bird feeders to hang up outside, as we would like to encourage more birds to visit our garden. Please look out for birds at home to! We may begin to use clipboards and paper to draw some if possible.
