Week beginning 5.6.17 Caterpillars Room

In Caterpillars we are beginning this half term with one of our favourite activities using our own photographs and mini me’s around the room. We will be planting our beans into pots and looking at the roots and shoots that have grown. We will also be making some ‘grass heads’ which we will be watching over the next few weeks to see if the grass begins to grow. As the weather is improving we will be doing more learning outside and this week we will be using the mini-beast pictures in our wildlife area to help us explore and hopefully find some under leaves and logs! Several of the children choose to use the instruments regularly so we will be exploring the sounds and using them to play alongside some favourite songs such as the wheels on the bus.
