Week beginning 6.11.17 in Caterpillars

This week we will be thinking about Bonfire Night and exploring some of the sounds, sights and smells. The children will be dancing to firework music and making their own sparklers to wave in the air. We will also be exploring some more fruits following on from the interest in the pumpkin last week and we will talk about what they look like, taste like and smell like, as well as feeling them to see if they are all the same. We will be continuing the exploration of colour and mixing blue and yellow with fingers to see the different shades of green that can be made.

We have now put our home slips up on the wall in the corridor so please try to stick one up for your child if you can - we know they do all sorts of wonderful things at home with you!
