Week ending 14.10.16

We have been very busy in the Caterpillar room this week! 

Well we started the week by making tissue paper leaves for our window display and some outside play. Alex and Franciszek played cooperatively making a tower with the small bricks and later in the week they built towers with the large rubber Lego bricks before knocking them down!

We used apples and pears to print an autumn picture and will soon be extending this activity by adding carrots and potatoes.

Our funky finger activity this week was using pegs to pick up pom  poms.

The children have enjoyed using the jewels with the play dough.

At group time we matched fish and named wild animals.

We had a selection of coloured puzzles and encouraged the children to name the objects as they placed them back into the puzzle.

And finally, Alex and Angeleta helped to make our entry for a local Christmas card competition.
