Butterflies week beginning 15.05.17

Date: 14th May 2017 @ 1:45pm

What are we doing in Butterflies this week?

We were very excited to watch our caterpillars form themselves into their chrysalis at the end of last week – we’ll be keeping a close eye on them this week as we wait for them to emerge as butterflies! We will be continuing to learn about the life cycle of a butterfly and sequencing the story of The Very Hungry Caterpillar and we’ll be looking for, collecting and marking off other bugs that live in the Nursery garden. We are spending time this week writing our names outside with the chalks and continuing to practise holding pencils with the correct grip, particularly with our older children who are getting ready to move to ‘big school’.
